Jeep Rental - Parking

Post by Sunny »

Hello!

I know everyone has their favorite rental car place but I am trying to determine which ones let you park in their lot? I did a search but couldn't find anything - maybe I did it wrong

Last time we rented from St. John Car rental and I know you can park there but parking was challenging sometimes

I thought I remembered reading that Penn's had a nice big lot but can't find the post now, so am I remembering that right?

What about Courtesy Car rental - do they let you park there (I think this is the company that the villa rental place uses).

Thank so much!

Yes, Penns has a large lot, very easy to get in and out of. Their prices are higher than the other places though. Conrad Sutton also has a lot--some people have trouble with it.

You'll definitely get different answers from different folks on this one.

I just prefer STJ car rental. Parking in their lot has never been a problem for us. But maybe we've just been lucky for the past 13 years or so

And if they're full there's always Slimmans lot.

C&C let us park in their lot as space is available but they are located in the area of the roundabout construction and we found the road closed once because of construction.

Thanks for all the information!

I need to check and see which company the villa places recommended and then decide from there.

Yes, Courtesy has always allowed parking in their lot, and they have a good-sized lot at their new location.

Conrad Sutton does have parking. The lot can be a little intimidating the first time or two you pull in there (or out of there!) as it is pretty steep and a tight fit. However, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting with them whenever we parked the car or picked it up. We were there in June, so I'm sure his lot fills up during the high season, but we always found a spot.

Does anyone know if Cool Breeze allows parking? I think they have a pretty small lot very close to the ferry.

And, apparently, I have not been lucky. :?

We're going to Sutton next year because they offered parking.

Just checked out villa rental paperwork and Cool Breeze offers a 10% dicount through the villa company so I am guessing we will probably go with them.

Thanks to all for the information :D

Cool Breeze does not have parking. Some family members rented from them with no problems because that's who Vacation Vistas uses.

We use Courtesy every time and LOVE them. You can park in their lot.

We used Conrad Sutton last year. We never had a problem with his lot. Maybe it was out time frame as we went into town between 6 and 7 and left by 10. Most of the time he would pull the Jeep into the lot and/or have it waiting for us up on the street when we were ready to go.

We always use Bougainvillea Leasing - owned by the Schnells. They have been great to work with, especially for late arrivals and when someone knocked our side-view mirror off. Their parking is in front of the Schnell Studio at Amore Center. Its a little walk into town, but not a problem for us. We have always found parking there.
