I can't think of a better place to ring in the new year than on STJ. Unfortunately I have to wait until May.

I have heard that the place to be for New Years is Jost. My friends went there a few years ago and said it was a blast.

I'll be there celebrating under a full moon on New Years Eve!
And I'll be carrying my new Forum beach tote.

We'll be there also, have not decided what to do yet. Jost (Foxy's) looks like fun but I don't know if I want to deal with the logistics getting back and forth.
I've heard the Westin has fireworks at midnight, although unconfirmed, so a late dinner (if the new restaurant is open) at the Westin might be in the works.

Yes, there's supposed to be a full moon that night! It will be a blue moon -- second in one month -- so kind of extra special.
Sounds like there will be several of us on island to celebrate the New Year! We'll be in Coral Bay, with kids, so no Foxy's or driving to Cruz Bay for us.

IF you are staying on St John, The Beach Bar has a big party. Live music with "the ish" and many special guests.

Now that's a once in a blue moon experience for sure! I'm now officially jealous!

We were planning on going to Jost on the 2nd, but what might we be missing on New Years Day?
