Now I'm getting annoying-villa question

Post by mahojim »

Ok.
So looks like Amy & I have already narrowed down our villa choices for the last week of April; could use some insight-
www.calabashcottages.com (the guest cottage/house)
or
www.inharmonyretreat.com .
Both look perfect, anyone ever stay at either one?
How's the location of Calabash? Safe that close to Salt Pond?
Thanks and always

Jimmy - In Harmony Retreat is pretty new and has a gorgeous view over Hurricane Hole and the East End. It's also very convenient to everything in Coral Bay (Skinny's is 2 minutes away). I've never been inside, but it's immaculately cared for on the outside...

X-
We're looking at the week of 4/24/10-5/01/10.
We're not sure of the villa yet, and are happy to see a lot of availabilities that week. It'll definately be a 1 bedroom bungalow type joint on the Coral Bay/ East End side...
We've had the frills, now looking forward to chillin' with a few thrills!
Love to meet up for a chilly one!

jim, we are staying at a place called sweet spice over christmas--it doesn't appear to have much in the views department, but it seems like a lovely little place--and the price is right-
it's not on the radar, but i will post back when we return on the 2nd and maybe you'd like to add that to your list--
I will review it when we return.
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

Hey Jim, we're on STT from April 28th until May 8th, so we'll make sure to get together on the 29th or 30th?

I don't want to mess up any last minute plans you have on Island, but we're going to do this.

Either we can take the ferry over and meet you guys in Cruz Bay or you can come over to Red Hook, we'll pick you up and go to Lattitude 18, great place.

Keep in touch.

Jim- is this up on Calabash boom?

If so, it is awesome up there. Pretty safe as I don't think anyone would be making a quick getaway from that road.

Road is terribly bumpy but not scary and kindof fun to go up. This coming from me- a big chicken!

Take a look at "Just Enough" or "New Moon". Both are in Coral Bay, 1bdrm,no pool/hot tubs. listed in vrbo.com and very reasonable.
Good luck in finding that just right place.
No ticker anymore. Next vac will prob. be the Fl Keys.
