Skeeters soon come

Post by Pia »

OK, just a heads up for those arriving towards the end of this week, the dreaded "mossies/skeeters/mosquitos" will be arriving. We have had 2 days of torrential downpours (yea for us, boo for the guests) and we all know 7-10 days after heavy rain out they come to play :(

OH NO!
I recommended STJ to some friends. They'll be arriving in 11 days. OY! I also recommended SailView to them (even though I've never been there  ). Did I read somewhere that Eileen has those zapper skeeter paddles that she makes available to her guests? I hope so.

Pia,
Do you know when those bee-otches are flying in? (not the mosquitos).

I will die if they are on our plane. It would be sooooo cool to see how much crap they have injected into their faces.

Lovermont,

We stayed at Sailview in May and did see a skeeter racket in or on the armoire.
Lucky for us, we did not have a need for it!

Thanks Pat... that's good to know. It sounds like Mike & Eileen are well known to take good care of their guests. I notice your ticker; are you going to be staying at SV again? If so, your stay will be overlapping with my (newbie) friends Jim & Tracey.

LM,

We will be staying in a villa, but plan on getting together with Mike and Eileen during our visit.
I know your friends will have a great stay at SV, it's a great place!

Double drats on the skeeters :( . We had to deal with them last time as we arrived after that 8-9 inches of rain that happened on one day in May. Maho was borderline not do-able several days into it.
Going "home" again October 26th!
