I am not a techie, but will try my best. The entire show is filmed in HD. More and more program is going HD and I believe that by the end of 2010 everything will be HD. In order to receive HD you need a cable/satellite system which broadcasts HD and naturally you would have to have a device that presents HD. That could be plasma, high definition or high definition DLP TV/System.

It is amazing picture quality especially on a wide screen TV

Crutchfield.com has lotsa FAQs about HD TV on this page - the different types of flat wide screen televisions (plasma, LCD, DLP, etc.) etc. etc.

Research and consensus seems to be if you go with plasma, stick with Panasonic and with LCD go with Sony or Sharp.

Hi everyone -

We recorded (DVR) episodes 2 and 3 the other night, but didn't get episode 1.

Does anyone know if these will be repeated so I can get the 1st one?

Thanks.

SocalTrav: I thought there were only two on Sunday, Mountain High and Ocean Deep. I Tivo'd the Oceans and watched it last night.....fantastic.

Which was the third one?

Mountains was #2, Ocean Deep was #3.

#1 was Pole to Pole or something like that.

Hey promoguy - I just looked at our local listings. Here in San Diego, it says that "Pole to Pole" (part 1) will be on the Discovery HD channel again on 3/31 (Sat.) at 12 a.m.
