CA Ferry

Hi, Does anyone know if there is any plan to get the CA/St John Ferry operating again? Would love to avoid Red Hook if possible.

Pia,
We are coming mid January - any thoughts? I prefer the CA ferry as well. Nothing like a long(er) ride on the ferry after a long day traveling. I love not dealing with the rushed cab ride to Red Hook!

Pia, We are arriving Sunday. I read somewhere that it may come back 1 November, I was hoping they were right. Guess not.

I just called and they said maybe next week. I thought maybe it was back up and running because night before last I saw a ferry pull up to the same place on the waterfront that the STJ ferry pulls up to, but I guess not.

Starting Monday, the 9th there will be three trips. From CA it's 9 am, 1 pm and 5:30 pm. From Cruz Bay, 7:15 am. 11:15 am and 3:15 pm.And NOT on Sundays!!
