Caneel Bay

Post by Diana2 »

We would like to do as liamsaunt and others do and finish our stay in May with a few days at Caneel and we would like some input on how to make the best arrangements to accomplish this.

What is the best way to get the best rate for a stay at Caneel Bay? Is it better to call them directly or can you get a better deal doing it another way through another entity?

I've always booked right through their website. Input your dates and make sure you scroll through all of the offers. Sometimes there are special rates towards the bottom of the rate quotes. The rack rates always come up first.

Thanks, Becky. I've finally convinced my husband to finish our trip at Caneel. I've been wanting to do it for years. We'll be celebrating our 47th anniversary while were in STJ next year. I seem to remember that Caneel comp'd you some anniversary champagne during one of your stays, right?

The champagne is complimentary for everyone, every time! They'll bring it to you in an ice bucket shortly after you get in to the room. You are right that they've left us an anniversary card though. Tell them you are celebrating your special occasion when you make your reservation.
