Apito

Post by Saint »

We just returned from a 4 day mini vacation staying at a new villa in the Coral Bay area called Apito which was absolutely gorgeous! This two bedroom villa has the most spectacular views, sunsets and sunrises. The attention to detail and the decorative touches really made this home stand out. The owners, Lori and Tom, really put their heart and soul into this villa and it shows. The home affords plenty of privacy if you are traveling with another couple as the downstairs bedroom/bathroom can only be accessible via an outside staircase. We were hesitant to stay on the Coral Bay side of the island but this home convinced us otherwise. Viva Villas is the management company who suggested this rental based on our requirements and they served us well. Fabulous!

Thanks for the villa report. How was the Coral Bay side? Did you venture to Cruz Bay much?

To answer the question about the Coral Bay side vs. the Cruz Bay side.....we were hesitant to stay in Coral Bay as we have always rented on the other side which is much closer to stores etc. However, staying at Apito convinced us otherwise. It's much quieter and the views are to die for. It was very green which was nice this time and we still had wonderful views of the ocean. It took about 20 minutes to get to town and about 15 to the beaches. The roads are challenging but not impossible. Don't worry about which side of the island as the right villa makes all the difference in the world!

My husband and I love this location on the island and this house looks really nice. What other houses are up there on Ajax Peak? I'm trying to put together a trip in April or May and I'm finding that lots of the villas that I'm looking at are already booked. Help with names of houses up there, please.

Hi all -

My wife (Lori) and I (Tom) are the owners of Apito. Well, actually we're a distant second behind FirstBank.

Apito has its own website:

http://www.apito-stj.com

VRBO: http://www.vrbo.com/249514

ViVacations:

Not trying to advertise here - just respond to the request for pics!

Thanks,

Tom & Lori
