iprof,

great report and wonderful pics that do casa b view justice. thanks for posting.

we had the pleasure to stay at casa b in late july when first went on rental market and loved her. 2 minor issues though; do they have a patio table yet and were the breezes still strong? i was back on stj 10/25 to 10/29 and north shore mighty windy. did you get it too?

stj and casa b are like a 1st love, hard to get out of your system.

thanks for sharing. and by the way the team fl ran all over on sat was the ga b team, all the varsity players were in penalty box for unsportmans like conduct. t tebow is the best college qback i've seen in my 65+ yrs and if ga had him, our b team would have won.

Nice pictures. The full moon pictures are really spectacular.

The view from the villa definitely lends itself to villa gravity. Who can blame you??

I am a little surprised that this was your first trip to the BVI’s. We went on our first trip because I just couldn’t handle not going and being so close!

I am glad you had a good trip Iprof!

--- It was your detailed Casa Bueno report that had me looking at the villa... and the "special" prices were just too good to pass up. Thank you. The new owners have possession now; I believe that they are planning to get the patio table in place in December. The breezes were delightful... strong enough and almost constant. We stayed in the upper bedroom and usually only left the slider open one-fourth of the way and the bath windows open a little... very comfortable... never used the AC.

--- Of course, I knew that Georgia was that team... how could I forget that? Tebow is an exceptional young man in many ways. 8)

Hope that you had a terrific STJ trip too.

Great report. We have stayed below Casa Bueno twice now and love this location.

How many bedrooms are they renting out at Casa Bueno now? I think the villas has 4 bedrooms but the last I heard they are only renting out 2. Is that still true? I'm also interested in whether they have a table for eating area outdoors yet.

There are four bedrooms and four baths. The ground level suite was locked, so we did not see inside it, but in looking through the slider, the bed appeared to be a queen... the room was decorated very nicely like the others. There were just the two of us and we were told that we could choose any of the other three bedrooms - we took the one upstairs. I think that the present rates are for 1-2 or 3-4 people. I understand that the outdoor table is to arrive in December.

Casa Bueno is definately a villa that we would choose again... I hope to get a review done in a couple of days.

I'm always looking for the perfect villa for our family so I have some more questions. Are the three available bedrooms all King beds? Would you say any of the bedrooms are large enough to put a single bed for a small child? Is there a bathtub in the house or showers only? Did you use the pool and did it get much sun on it? I'm also curious about the wind up at that house. If it is windy is there a protected area so that you can get out of the wind? Did you find the kitchen well equipped? What agent did you use to rent the house?

Is there a bathtub in the house or showers only? NO TUB IN THE UPPER 3 BEDROOMS
Did you use the pool and did it get much sun on it? WE DID GET IN THE POOL, BUT FOUND IT A BIT CHILLY (NEW OWNERS MAY BE ADDRESSING THIS). THE SUN SEEMED TO HIT IT FOR ABOUT FIVE HOURS.
I'm also curious about the wind up at that house. If it is windy is there a protected area so that you can get out of the wind? I WOULD NOT SAY THAT WE HAD WIND... BREEZES, NOT WIND. ALL THE OUTDOOR SPACES FACE DOWNHILL AND THE POOL IS AT THE END OF THE HOUSE.
Did you find the kitchen well equipped? I DID LITTLE COOKING; WILL TRY TO TELL MORE ABOUT THE KITCHEN IN THE REVIEW.
What agent did you use to rent the house? THE VRBO SITE.

Beautiful photos!!! Love your view! We like Salt Pond a whole heck of a lot, too, and we don't mind the walk so much.

This house is really getting good press here. I just looked at their availability calendar and they are booked pretty solid. We are looking for something in that area in May. Boo Hoo
