Cannon D-float strap

Post by SunnySal »

I think several of you have the Cannon D waterproof camera. Do you use a float strap and if so what kind and is there an online source? Thanks!
I believe there is magic here...

Check out the Zeikos "Floating Foam Strap"; available on Amazon.

One of the forumites is using it on island as I type :) It worked well in her aquarium; I'm hoping to hear good reports from her snorkeling experiences.

We use the Olympus float strap and it works well. I see no reason it wouldn't work on the Canon.

A float strap would be great. We dropped our camera and didn't even know it at the time. Fortunately someone on the beach.( An employee of Skinny Legs) found it washed up on shore and returned it to us. When I first saw this post I thought the heading was referring to Pachelbel Canon in D and was curious what it said. DUH:)

I am impressed....not many folks on this board know what Pachelbel Canon in D is, especially if it wasn't perfrormed by Kenny Chesney or Jimmy Buffett. We got some sophisticated folks on the middle coast up in the KC area!

I wonder if there is a really talented and clever forumite who can play Pachelbel's Canon in D on a float strap? There could be.

Both my son and his wife are professional musicians. Classical trumpet. Otherwise I probably wouldn't be that smart. I would love to hear it played on a floating camera strap though:)

Sunny, I misspoke, my camera and strap are Olympus. We did love having that.

I also checked this post because of the name Canon D. I too thought of the song. I can play it on a violin and viola, but float strap may be a bit of a stretch! LOL.

The definition of an educated person is one who, when they hear that music, thinks of William Tell and NOT the Lone Ranger.
