A day in the life of the SpiceCam
A day in the life of the SpiceCam
Haven't posted much lately...but I still stop by quite a bit. I miss the rock...going back for 2 weeks next May.
After looking at the Serendipity time-lapse, I decided we needed one for the Spicecam. Not nearly as refined as the Serendipity time-lapse, but anyway - here it is:

Not really hard to do.
I used this (http://www.softology.com.au/webcams.htm) to download an image from the spicecam each minute. It also will stitch the pictures into a video, but I did not like the way it did it. This program comes with many webcams already listed, but you will have to add the address for the spicecam manually.
I used this (http://www.aswsoftware.com/products/ima ... oavi.shtml) to make the video because there is more control over the speed, frames per second, etc...
There are many, many other choices but these are FREE! and relatively simple to use.
Thanks again Ruth! The spicecam has helped me through many busy, frustrating, and mind-numbing days at work... I hope you realize the wonderful service you provide to many of us out here. I have always been curious. Do you know how many hits you get each day on the spicecam? Do you track the hits?
