In MD kids can't drive after midnight for 1 year after they get their license. That takes them to most of their senior year. Love it!! Also get your kids to swim year round. When they have to be in the pool at 5:00 AM no worries about staying out late :)

It started when they were young. But now that they are teens they pretty much have the basement to themselves. We put in a really nice game room. We have the game table for them to play poker. They have theater chairs that are more comfortable than the ones upstairs.

I am not sure if it is about the "stuff" or if it is just being relaxed. There are rules--and I can be a little fussy about who comes over--but generally we give them a lot of freedom.

Hopefully, that helps. Even without a lot room--try to give them extra seating options and try to get a good tv and you should be set.

How old are your kids??
