Denis is my favorite beach, but I think I say that for
all the beaches on St. John. Thanks for the beautiful

Capt it is snowing in the Boston area at this moment. Thanks for the picture. A nice way to start of a wonderful snowy day in New England.

Capt - I have never been to Denis Beach (yet!) I'd really like to visit on my upcoming trip. I'm assuming from your beautiful picture you have made the hike. Will you provide some feedback on how the hike in/out is to get to the beach? I'll be with a group of 10-12 friends, couple of coolers, etc. Is this a better beach to visit "early" as opposed to "later in the day?

Captain,

Now everyone knows our secret. LOL.

Love that beach, it was our first time the last trip and we went twice.

KKlay- The hike is not long, is a little steep and hot on the way back up. I'll let someone else weigh in on the coolers as we didn't bring much the times we went there.

The only other thing is that if my memory serves me there is one really nice shaded area, but not many others. So if it is taken, you might not get much shade.

Having the calm before the next Nor'easter hits tonight and tomorrow. At least we didn't get the snow. Have to be grateful for small things in life.
