My daughter's wedding

Post by P-600 »

My daughter was married on July 4th of this year. We planned the wedding in just 53 days!!!(They moved to Tampa for a job transfer) It was at the Dennis Inn on Cape Cod. She bought the first dress she tried on and wore flip flops! It was a cocktail reception with a raw bar, chowder shots, grilling stations and tons of passed horsdeurves to go around. Everyone loved that idea. Also, open bar which you will be able to tell by the end of the evening that everyone had a really good time. No worries, we rented a bus so to take everyone to the after party and back to their homes or hotels. Great fun! We also had a surprise visit from Uncle Sam who brought fireworks!

Here are the pics if you are interested. I am trying to pick some out for my album and need help!

yeah for flip flops! I wore a heel to the ceremony but changed in to Birkenstocks as soon as it was over. My sisters were a little horrified!

love your dress (assume it's you in the taupe/coffee)

Looks like it has been a great wedding. Beautiful bride etc.

Is it common with an outdoor wedding?

That is one Happy (and beautiful) bride.

All of the pictures are great - I love adirondack chairs - so those are some of my favorites.

My sister was horrified that I walked around my reception with a bottle of beer.

Absolutely gorgeous! Your daughter is beautiful. I love the dresses, LOVE the flowers--are they from Winstons? The ringbearer is SO cute!

Love the flip flops too! At my wedding I wore dress shoes for the church service, but changed into sparkly keds right afterwards. :D
