Boat day for a large group

Post by mrscaptainjay »

Hey guys. I know several of you have done a "boat day" with a large group so I was just wondering if you could give me the companies you've gone with and a contact if you still have it. I've done some searching and just can't find the posts with the info.

We have a group of friends coming down in Feb and they want to do a boat day since one of them is having their 40th birthday while they are here. There will be 10 total, maybe 12. It can go out of STT or STJ and can be power or sail, doesn't matter.

Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks, Deb

Check out www.motoryachtcinnamonbay.com .Great captain & crew, wonderful boat- very comfortable!
If you decide to go with them, tell them Jimmy & Amy said hello!
We plan on using their services in just a few short weeks.
Good luck, you won't regret it!

We had a very good experience with Born To Rhumb and I would use them again. I think the boat holds 12.

I second the recommendation for Born to Rhumb (borntorhumb.com). Captain Kevin is awesome; the boat does hold 12 and it is always our best day!! Also, Kevin now has an Ipod dock on the boat so you can bring your own boat music - or play his - it's pretty good!

The cost includes customs fees and all the beer and soda you can drink and after lunch Kevin mixes up endless batches of truly delicious painkillers. Wheeee!

You could check with Captain Frank who runs a very pretty inspected power vessel called SEAMORE - it is on the dock at Independent on STT and he has been here in the VI a long time in the boat world, www.seamorecharters.com - he is licensed for 12 passengers and does a very nice job.
