New Tweet and Retweet button

Post by Anthony »

Hi everyone,
You will notice when in a topic now a new button on the left under the "New Topic" button that lets you add the post you are reading to Twitter. If you are logged into your Twitter account, all you have to do is click that button and you can tweet the post - and then others can retweet it. Just a way to spread the word quickly about something if you like it or find it useful. I would appreciate those of you who use Twitter trying this and it may get us in their search results on a timely basis and perhaps bring some new users to the forum
We are also working to get something in the same space for Facebook users - should be ready soon.
Thanks -

I tweeted this thread... see the "1"? Then I deleted it from my tweets as I wasn't sure it was the best choice to put "out there"... twitter deleted it and your button went back to "0", then the "1" appeared again.
Learning by experience once more today!

Edited:
Two seconds ago the "1" was there...
Your two tweets weren't counted earlier, then they were, now they aren't...

Edited once more:
I'll give a retweet a shot....

What's with the coming and going of the numbers???

Last Edit:
OK... the Relocation Forum tweets and retweets seem to be working...

I think the count seems a little flaky as it must be connected to your cookie file and the URL of the page - which means - it may not work as advertised because the forum has a session id in the URL... :(

We'll see I guess.

I am not getting email alerts though suddenly for threads I am watching... has this happened to anyone else?
