It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
WWWT - The "'s" was painted on the sign for the series. Since they were supposed to be in Sisley, AK, and not Roslyn, WA, they added the "'s" to the existing sign to make it appear to be a cafe owned by someone named Roslyn. This picture was taken during the time that they were filming the Halloween episode.. I can't remember the episode name, but the town was all decorated with fall leaves and pumpkins and such.
One thing I noticed is how small we look next to that sign, when in the opening of the show, and that moose walks by and he must be HUGE! to dwarf the sign as he does.

The big arch is Monument des Morts located at the base of colline-du-chateau.

Our hotel was La Perouse, which is behind the monument... hard to explain how all this works together, but it was one of the most interesting places I have have ever stayed. If you have the time and interest, the first photo for the hotel shows how all this is arranged.

The old port of Nice is seen in my second picture; on the other side of the hill is the Promenade des Anglais - seen in the first pic. Old Nice was just steps away. An interesting park is there also. The best web description I can find and certainly more clear than I can relate is here:

(goparoo is one of those sites... sometimes up and sometimes not....)
I would return in a heartbeat....
