We used a porter on the Gang of 24 trip for the first time, on the forum's reccomendation. It was great! We got to go to the front of the check-in and security lines. Normally, we would be doing only carry on luggage. But, my parents do not pack light and cannot carry their own bags. I would say we saved 45 minutes total.

We always get to the airport 2 hours early. There have been times when we just barely made it in time. Other times we were through security in 20 minutes. It just depends on the travel load.

Cheers, RickG

I must use a porter next trip! I've seen them around but didn't know they'd stay with you all the way through. How much does it cost and what is the correct gratuity?
