Cool! That shot is worthy of winning and just the kind of thing that would catch an editors eye.

I think the prize is for RT tix anywhere they fly, not just to Jamaica, so check their routes. Weird that you havent been contacted yet...

Thanks everyone! I really am excited that it won. I am not sure why I have not heard from them. I know the magazine goes on to the newstands on October 5th, so maybe that's when they'll contact me. I posted a message on the magazine's facebook wall so I'm sure I'll hear something soon.

It looks like they go to Jamaica, Curacao, Nassau, and a couple of other places. Should be fun once I get it all straightened out!

FlipFlop, thanks for the Rockhouse recommendation, that place looks great!

We all thought it was a fantastic photo when you posted your trip pictures from this past summer. I'm so glad you took the time to enter it in the contest. Now, everyone reading the magazine will be able to enjoy it's beauty! Can't wait to pick up my copy. Congratulations!!

I knew what picture they were talking about as soon as I read this! I also saved it to my computer. It is so incredibly beautiful that it almost looks "fake". What an awesome honor for liamsaunt! Congrats!!!

Good Job! Though, I am sure, none of us are surprised.

Your photos have always been spectacular!! But, you really did out do yourself with that octopus shot. Nice to see that Caribbean Life knows talent when they see it. But, like I said, we all knew it WAY before they did.

Again, congrats!! Enjoy your prize!! But, of course, we will expect another trip report - and need I say - lots of photos!! LOL
