I see roti on the board at Gladys'Cafe. Is that near the car barge dock? Love roti! Any recommendations on where to eat roti in St. John? Also - is Ting available in St. John? Some in my group are rum & Ting, vodka & Ting enthusiasts and have been asking me to check that out on this board.
Thanks,
Pam

Rick, thanks for the report. We have had a drought lately due to the time of year. Should have lots after Haloween.

pegoode,
As a general answer, they do have Ting on St John. We have bought it at Everyting Store at Gallow's Point. Not sure which markets carry it. However, as a fan of rum and Ting, I can say that finding it at the bars/restaurants is hit or miss. The Beach Bar has it.
Going "home" again October 26th!

Thank you Rickg for your report, esp the pictures !!

How fortunate to be able to get there so often. Your pictures really helped alot, to see the actual beach areas, gives us newbies a birds eye view of them.

And the rest. reviews are a real big help too.

And lucky you, you get to do it all again in another month !!
No ticker anymore. Next vac will prob. be the Fl Keys.

Hey pegoode

Glady's is in downtown CA so not near the car ferry.

Ting is available at Starfish by the case and probably at the others as well but I always see cases of it at Starfish :)

Fun trip report, RickG.
I'm glad that you enjoyed my Attack Chicken sign in the back yard. It was a gift from California Girl.

Thx for another great trip report! Great pics too! You gave me a great idea for my next trip...spending some time walking the dogs each day we will be there. I'm sure my liver will thank me for some detox time from the rum. lol

We hit the ACC shelter after serious happy hour action; the dogs walked me. Good thing they knew the way. Leslie, I think it was, was happy to see us and just gave us the dogs and told us to have fun. There's a reasonable around-the-block way to walk. Many hands make quick work.

Cheers, RickG

Rick, Thanks for the report and pics :D I didn't think ya were going to do one for this trip. The board needs them in this slow season.
