Patricia's Restaurant near Gallows

Post by Bobbyboy »

An owner of one of the units at Gallows recommended Patricia's, very close to Gallows. He mentioned that they serve good West Indian food, have a pig roast on Sundays, and karaoke. I can't locate any info, so does anyone out there know about this place?

I think this is the place out past the de-sal plant on Moorehead Point. There is a sign that says private no trespassing, but the locals ignore it I guess.

Ruth would know...

I didn't see any action like that in August when we stayed on Frank Bay. I did see folks on top of the orange roofed house wearing bee suits and it looked like they were harvesting the honey from supers in a beehive.

I really wanted to walk over and say hello when they finished, but NO TRESPASSING is rather a hint.

Cheers, Rick

That's a new one to me. We were just there and never noticed it. We walked down to coconut coast to see Elaine a couple times, but didn't notice anything.

I have not been there, but I am fairly certain it exists. I have seen flyers on telephone poles for fish fries over in that area, and I have heard the karoake while staying at Gallows.

It definitely exists. Sometimes you see it referred to as "P & P" for Patricia and Patrick Moorehead. They are a very nice couple who used to have the fish fry shack at the bottom of the hill on Moorehead Point.
If you go past Coconut Coast Studios in Frank Bay and go straight up the hill, it's on your left at the top of the hill now.
I don't think they're open every day, though. They definitely have fish fries and karaoke and other events there. I will try to find out more.

yes, that is where they are located. I am told you can call ahead for your order and her name is in the phone book. There is supposed to be a pig roast on Sundays and I was told that her food was really very good.

Wow! I'll have to start ignoring the No Trespassing signs! That's worth checking out.

I've been following this thread w/ some interest. SWiMBO & I are staying in Gallows mid-November, and we also learned about Patricia's from the owner of our room (Mike in Colorado.)

Designbyroe: To get to Patricia's from Villa Bougainvillae, you'd walk down towards Gallows, then turn left & walk downhill to Frank Bay. Then walk uphill to Patricia's.

oh, ok........was not sure where bougainvillea was...
now, I know it is a left after gallows.. instead of straight to frank bay.
that makes sense.
