Don't call him a mix. When asked just say he's a labradoodle. I do believe the labradoodle is now recognized by the AKC.

I love him and I want one too! We've had labs (chocolate and yellow) for the last 24 years and think there's nothing like them. It would be great to have one that didn't shed. I wonder if you would have to groom a labradoodle like you have to do a poodle.

He's a doll!! Enjoy him to the max... A must watch with a new puppy is Cesar Millan,"Dog Whisperer" on the NatGeo Channel or his books. He's amazing!

We don't have dogs any more because of our traveling, but we participate in the "Pets-From-Paradise" program in St Croix...it's wonderful to escort very small pets to a new home in the States.

What a cute dog! Friends of ours have a grown (2 year old) yellow Labradoodle. She is a sweetheart! Congratulations and Enjoy!
