Recomendations for a day sail

Post by dejavu »

We went with Josh on Lion in da sun in 08 and LOVED it-but sadly his boat(s) can only hold 6- we are 7- looking to snorkel, Willie T for lunch, more snorkel and then to Jost for soggy dollar to finish up the day- taking our 22 & 23 year olds and I know I will not be able to talk anyone into staying behind for villa gravity- :( So I need a recommendation on another charter company for our January trip.

We took Stormy Petrel (sister ship is Pirates Penny I believe) in May 08. There were 8 adults in our party and it was great. The boat is not one of the newer boats you might see but it surely worked great for us. You can create your own itinerary. We booked it with Trevor from http://www.bestofusvi.com/ Our Captain was great as was his first mate. They were very knowledgeable and the drinks flowed all day long. Good luck whatever you chose! Have fun!

I always recommend the Scubadu. I believe his catamaran can fit up to 10 guests so you should be good to go. I would give Capt. Joe a call. I'm sure he would love to accommodate you. We're all set to sail with him next month!

We sailed on Breath, and there would be plenty of room for your group on there. It's a great boat.

We just stayed near St. John, but I know they can also go over to the BVIs as long as you have a passport.
