Hey Minde-

Check out Courtesy-I can't remember if they let you use their lot, but it wouldn't hurt to ask, they were very nice people.

Where did you pick to stay?

Courtesy has a nice discount going, and it says they'll pick us up at the ferry dock :D I'll call them in 23 minutes. Oooh, I'm getting so excited! We got our flights this morning, too!
Toni, we're staying at Cruz Views....sounds nice but not over the top, which is perfect.

How far of a walk is it from Courtesy's lot to places like the Woody's or the Beach Bar? Their map looks to be a bit further away than where St. John Car Rental or Conrad's are located at.

Rental car parking

Yo...Bougainvillea Leasing 1-800-253-7107 lets you park in their area which is around the corner from the old Texeco station area. It is Donald Schnell's business and he or Eric will take great care of you. I have them booked for my Dec trip and have used them many times before. Newer clean vehicles.....God bless..Bill

Conrad Suttons does, though the lot can be tight, I have always found a spot.

another issue to consider

YO...You should also find out what time you have to have the car back. Some are 9:30 which can make for a long day at the dock if you have a late afternoon flight...God bless..Bill

Courtesy does allow you to park in their lot but since they have moved, we didn't park in their lot. We will continue to use them regardless because we have always had great service with them. They will pick you up (and drop you off) at the dock. Greg is always so nice and wonderful to deal with.

Courtesy was all booked up except for their most expensive model, so I decided to call around. I told Blaine what a nice lady I spoke to on the phone, and he said "if they're nice, rent there. I don't care if it's more expensive."
So I'm going to call back tomorrow and see if they still have any vehicles left. Nice wins! It shouldn't be that hard finding in town parking in October.

Good luck. We LOVE Courtesy and will always be loyal customers. We never have any complaints while other members of our group have used other places and have had issues.

:D We lucked out. They had an Explorer left! The gentleman I talked to was just as nice as the lady I spoke with before. Thanks for the recommendation!

Hey Minde-

I don't know if you ever check out the On-St. John blog, but on occasion they post a jeep cam view often from courtesy car rental. Basically they drive a jeep around the island and just record where they go.
Hopefully this will show as an example: (scroll down to the jeep cam video)
http://www.on-stjohn.com/category/recent-videos/page/7/
It shows the Courtesy Lot and the guy I think is the owner. He waited on us when we rented in March.
Thought you might find it helpful-you must be getting excited!
