Re: Miss Lucy's

There is usually a live band at Miss Lucy's full moon parties; the food is ok, nothing great, but the location is fantastic for a full moon. Parking can be a challenge however.

I've been to Bomba's full moon party three times and taken Sweet Christine once. It's rather developed from a cult party to frat party. If you want 'shrooms then buy them from the vendors rather than fighting for tea. The total lunar eclipse in October 2004 was extra trippy.

That being said, if you decide to go the first ferry back to Red Hook, via Cruz bay, is 7AM.

A lot of people like Miss Lucy's for full moon. We're not fans and enough said about that. You're on St. Thomas, but I love watching the moon rise on STJ from Concordia, Shipwreck Landing, or one of the overlooks on Centerline Road going down to Coral Bay.

Moonrise is at 6:52PM on the day of full moon - http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/RS_OneDay.php

On St. Thomas, the place you're staying has a pretty darn good setting for watching that moon rise over St. John!

Party on.

Awesome pictures!

I was wondering if there was another way besides that tea - so I'm psyched that there's vendors but is it safe? What if I come back from the vacay and I'm declared legally insane?

I guess we'll go with whatever mood we're in at the time for the full-moon party. But I'm totally curious - where do all the people that are at the Bomba thing stay afterwards? They can't all be staying on Tortola - right?

I don't need a frat party atmosphere but I also don't want something too mellow either.

We also need to find some fun people to take a day charter with.

How do I get a little picture by my username? Every time I try to transfer a picture from my PC, it kicks it back because it's too big, even when I make it really small.

I'm so psyched for this trip that I have a million things running through my head - can ya tell?!

Thanks!
Abby
