Ferries are running normally Thurs. Sept. 3rd

At the moment, the ferries are running normally. The US Coast Guard has left the decision to continue service to the discretion of the ferry captains. Things may change if the seas get rough later due to Tropical Storm Erika, but at the moment everything is normal and all rumors to the contary are false. I received this information on the telephone from Varlack Ventures, one of the ferry companies.

Per the 5pm advisory, Erika has been downgraded to a Tropical Depression. We are waiting to see what happens next.

The ferries are still running, we had a lovely sunset and we are still waiting for Erika to fill up our cisterns.
