Your opinion on great villa for family of 4

Post by BeAsUR »

I am looking for a villa ( on STJ) for the 4 of us- at least 2 bedroom, 3 is ok, too....AC....pool and great view, Nice deck and pretty landscaping ....in Cruz bay area. Stayed in Chocolate Hole last time and liked the location. No more than 3500 week.
It will be our 2nd trip to STJ-

Check out Cinnamon Tarn on Villas Caribe. Awesome villa. Awesome view.

Is your price range in or out of season? Lots of people on the board rave about Miles Away. I haven't stayed there myself but it's on my short list.

Hi, Bev! Everything is great! Been lurking lately and not any posting. Starting to plan for our next trip. It's been a very busy summer. Anyway...don't want to hijack this thread...

Back to topic: Another very nice place for four is Alesandra. Waterguy can fill you in on that though :-)

for $3500 off season there is some great stuff on maria bluff including several with full ac which maybe needed if breezes die down. cartered to has several, as does destination st john. we ilke nautilus @310 night for 4 through private home, hot tub but no pool and a wonderful veranda that will provide some afternoon sun relief and ac in all 3 bedrooms but bedrooms far from equal but great for family.
happy hunting.

we stayed at Calypso del Sol in May and we liked this property and it has all you are looking for. 2 bedrooms are on a lower level though, don't know if that is a problem for your age group.

the owner is great to work with.

I have looked into Villa Catalina and Mar de Amores (same owner) in Chocolate Hole. http://www.villaluxe.com/st-john/villa-mar-de-amores and http://www.villaluxe.com/st-john/villa-catalina Not luxurious but they seem comfortable.

Hi BeAsUR,

Tagging onto bnsilly's post...4 of us stayed at Villa Bijou in July '08 and are heading back again in July. It was a great placeot stay. During the off season, it is in the price range. Great views, big pool, all a/c, W/D, shades for afternoon sun (if you happen to be inside then), grill...the whole 9 yards - it's about 7 min to CB and 5 from Starfish Mkt. Good luck with your search! Anywhere you stay be good because you'll be on STJ! All the best, Scott
