Rarely ever reply here anymore, but this looks to be too much fun to pass up.

Book: Complete works of William Shakespeare (there are still plays that I haven't read)

CDs: Springsteen's Born in the USA; Bocelli's Romanza

DVD: Top Gun or the Thirteenth Warrior

Assuming that this island is equipped with a good supply of beer and red wine, I have no desire to follow the power cable back.

Hmmm...this changes things. A battery-powered combo player. It would be quite a drain on the batteries. Then again, after the batteries died, would the island have the proper recycling facilities to dispose of them?

and...a whole library washing up on shore? Wow...that would be a hell of a sight. Especially if it was the bathroom from the College Ave Campus at Rutgers. The bottom level had good bathrooms for pooping in. Clean, quiet...you know.

Bev, how are we going to open that crate? Will there be tools? And if so, why can't we just build a raft and get the hell out of there?
