You're stranded on an island. You can have one book, two C.D.'s and one movie. What would you have???
Book:
There's so many but I just read Angels and Demons and loved it!
C.D.'s:
Van Morrison's Greatest Hits (mellow)
Michael Jackson's Greatest Hits (to dance to)
Movie:
The Dirty Dozen ( a classic that I love...)

I am not much of a book reader but the book I would pick is something like How to live comfortably on a stranded island

CDs: Born to Run Bruce Springsteen
and Any of Jimmy Buffet's double live cds. Since MMIM taken I will say Live at Fenway

Movie: boy this is tough I will take Lord of the Rings

This will be fun thread to watch.

I'll have to pick up the Grizzard book because I really like the other three picks.

Book: A Pirate Looks at 50 - Jimmy Buffett

CD 1: 2 people mentioned MMIM. Can't argue there.
CD 2: Give me a good Michael Buble disc to play at night when the sun's going down.

DVD: While I'm a huge Star Wars Fan, Give Me Clerks X. Kevin Smith packed like 432 hours of footage into that box

Bev: Can I assume this island I'm stranded on has electricity and CD and DVD players? Otherwise, your concept is full of crap. what good is a DVD to me if there's no electricity?

If this island had electricity and I wasn't as dumb as the people on Gilligan's Island, there's an assumption that there's contact to the outside world (power grid). Can't I just follow the cables out tot he beach...just past the big statue of a foot?

I'm not helping, am I?

I knew someone (you) would chime in with the electrical question...Must you ruin everything??? Party pooper! Suppose a crate of assorted sealed batteries, a TV, DVD/CD combo player, and a library washed up on shore with you? Happy? :D
