Help with a decision

Hello helpful "forumites"...I need help!
I have to make a decison between two very different villas by tomorrow .. ....splurge or conserve!

We have found two villas that will let us rent for four nights at the end of October. Tennis Cottage in Chocolate Hole (love the are) and the brand new Apito in Mamey Peak (?). There is a $300 difference which could pay for our car rental. Part of me wants new and different yet I feel I should be more "frugal"! I am a little concern with renting Tennis cottage since it is down the path from the main villa and is an older property. Can you hear noise from the main tennis villa? Has anyone had any recent experiences renting from either property?

Saint, if it were me I'd go for Apito! It looks beautiful. I think the only problem with it is that you won't want to leave! The Mamey Peak area could give you nice breezes and quick access to the north shore beaches.

Since Apito's rates double for Christmas/New Years I will probably never see it. So I selfishly want you to stay there and do a TR so I can live vicariously through you!

For me it would be a no-brainer. After staying on the south side one time we all agreed we never wanted to go back to that area ever again. Too many people and villas too close together. I think you'll love the Mamey Peak location. Apito gets my vote.

I'd go for Apito too. I've exchanged emails with the owner and he seems real nice.

Apito gets my vote. It looks very private and serene, nice views and brand new furnishings. We met the owners, Tom and Lori a couple of years ago and they were very nice.

Apito way gets my vote. I haven't heard anything bad about Tennis Cottage, but if I were going to stay in a cottage, I would not want to stay on a property that could have a house full of strangers a few yards away. No way. Besides, I like new, and I like the location of Apito.

Wow...thanks you guys for all your help...decision made! And how can I not rent from an owner whose first name is Lori which is my name! Will post when we return!
