Just back from our 'First Look' of STT and STJ

Post by c3p1 »

And it won't be our last!

I just got up and looked out our window only to see a rainy morning and no beautiful sea in front of me :(
Detoxing is tough! (no disrespect to those that had to go through the real deal).

I promise to do a full report (never done one before), with pictures. It will take a couple days to get together. I really thought I would type some of the report each night or post while down there or something--but none of that happened, which meant we were having a great time!

Thank you all for some GREAT advice and your trip reports, it really does help first timers get a good sense of what to anticipate, how to do things and how to get around. My wife thought I had been there before with all I picked up from this forum. So, thank you all!

Paul - can't wait to see your report!

Getting back into the "real world" is really tough. This past trip, I was depressed for at least a week  The thing that gets you out of it is coming here and/or trying to figure out when you will get back next and looking at villas.

I'm in Pa. and feel your pain.. It's raining cats and dogs (literally). I just saw a few fall out of the sky!
Use this day to look back at your trip and the beautiful sun and sand...Can't wait for your report!

So glad you made it back safely. Love it when people "get it" about STJ. I agree with you: this Forum is one of the most helpful places (cause of the great people!) for 'newbies' & veterans alike (I'm still learning stuff all the time).
Looking forward to your trip report. Thanks for doing that.

So glad you had a great time. I'm anxious to see your report. And I hope you enjoyed Sapphire Beach as much as we did.

Welcome to the obsession...8 years and a row for our addiction to the rock. I usually warn friends that they may not Get IT and if they do, they will curse me forever because not too many other places can compare if threy decide to travel somewhere else.
