Thanks for the input. I've given it 4 days to dry out. Maybe I'll overnight it with silca tonight. I'll drop the battery in tomorrow.

Fortunately, the card was not damaged.

Same thing happened with ours...we tried what we could & then ended up calling company & sending it back. They fixed it..sent it back..& it has worked ever since (even underwater).

Sure seems like the Olympus UW cameras have issues, based on the anecdotal evidence expressed here and elsewhere.

As noted on another thread, the Canon D10 and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1 rated out on top in a new review of UW digicams. Each is better at certain things and the Panasonic is certainly slimmer, but only waterproof to 10ft., but does have longer zoom (4.6x) and shoots HD video vs. the bulky Canon (3x) which good to 10m (33ft)
