Plan the dive trips! But just try to get in that "Island Vibe" and go with the flow. The less structure the better , IMHO! :D

is anyone else gonna be around? we are going to be there aug 2-10 (staying on STT aug 9th to fly home the 10th)

Hey there - We're arriving on Aug 2 - leaving the 9th. And we're new to STJ too. I'm going to be there with my hubbie and 2 teen boys. We can't wait. We're not diving this trip - just snorkeling.

My only last minute issue is the STT rental car company called yesterday and said they don't have any 4WD cars now. They have a darn minivan. Not sure how that will do since everyone says you need 4WD.

Yes! We will be at the Marriott STT on 8/5 - 8/12. If you can make it to the Beach Bar on Sun 8/9 for jazz (4-7) - - we'll see you there! I know Rick G will be there....

sounds good, minus the rental situation. we decided to take a ferry across and rent on STJ (Paris Car Rental).

where are you staying? my mom and my gf are on this trip with me. i will be the only one diving, but other than that, we have no plans.

i guess we will have to see about making it to the beach bar on the 9th since we are staying that one night on STT before our flight out the 10th.
