My vote is for Gladys's also! We stopped in there for lunch on our last day, and I had the best chocolate BBC ever!! (Listed as CBBC on the menu).

Food was pretty good, too. And Pauline was the best!

All good choices. I second Gladys for local food, Greenhouse for fun atmosphere and people watching, and Hook, Line & Sinker for fresh seafood and good mix of tourist and locals.

The Happy Buzzard is gone. :( We always liked eating there on traveling day. It is the Big Kahuna now which is just okay. I vote for Cuzzins but, I have not had the Gladys experience.

On our way home, after our first trip in May, we disembarked the ferry in pouring rain. I asked the first local we passed, where we could find some food, and he pointed to the left and said "green house." I literally thought we were looking for a green house and was wondering how we'd ask for food there.... We were really happy to find the Greenhouse restaurant, and our meal was delicious and low-priced and in a great setting!

We always try to go to Cafe Amici for their delicious pastas and homemade stone oven pizzas on our way back home. We have always enjoyed the open air restaurant and fabulous food. On July 13th on our way back home my daughter ordered the Cavatappi Pesto Pasta, which was amazing! We also ordered the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Pizza, the Mediterranean Pizza, and the Margherita Pizza. All the pizzas were fantastic, but we especially enjoyed the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Pizza. My son ordered this one and he really didn't want to share - it was that good. My son's girlfriend ordered the Mediterranean Pasta and said it was also delicious. I don't think you could go wrong with anything you order at this restaurant. Bon Appetit!!

I'll second Cafe Amici. It's always our lunch stop on the way back. The pizzas are delicious and the open air porch is beautiful.

What a shame. Ownership was a little unfriendly but the ambiance was great. I wonder if their antique store is still open?

We ate at Hook Line and Sinker in March. We had lunch and felt the food was very good. We also liked the location. The sea plane took off and landed while we were there and its right beside the water. We had a window seat which was also nice.

Buzz of the Happy Buzzard still has the SOS' antique' store open -- being a bar owner is not always a dream job as is often imagined.
