Deals at the Westin

Post by crasherino »

I realize that most people prefer staying at a villa, but in the event that someone is considering the Westin, I just received an email that referenced 50% off rooms through some time in October.

I plugged in random dates in September and was able to get a room for under $200.

The rate plan code is LTOJUL.

Crasherino- glad you got a good deal! Just fyi-I am sure the luck of the draw will be that your room is fine. But we were there recently and had trouble with our AC. It worked but it was still warm. We had them come out several times and they did stuff each day that didn't seem to work. They were very good about trying though!

I would advise not to comepletely unpack until you are sure your AC unit is cranking...just an idea.

Again, I am sure you will be fine, but I wish we had asked to move earlier. By the time we clued in, we were too settled (and don't spend lots of time in the room anyways).

Just an idea.

Thanks - I'm not actually going to STJ then - just thought I'd check the dates in the event anyone else is looking to go around that time.

We are actually headed down for a short trip (only 3 days :( in December for a friend's wedding where we are staying in the Bay Vista Villas. I'll be sure to check the airconditioning before we settle in.

I though I would add, as most of you may not know, that Gallows now accepts children for certain months. From their website........................

"Children under 5 are not permitted with the exception of a new offering as of May 4, 2009, where children are welcome July - October 2009.Note that the maximum number of guests in any suite, including children, is 5."

Also, ZoZo's now permits children over 5 years of age.
