Sopre Mare Villa - Any reviews or information?

Happy Thursday everyone!

We're considering Sopre Mare for the 2nd week of our stay on STJ next April. It's located in the Maria Bluff area and is on the Viva website.

I searched the forum and villa reviews but came up short! Has anyone stayed at this villa or has anyone toured it?

Any insider info would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there.
Sopra Mare is a new villa and it is the next house past Beyond the Sea as you travel out around Maria Bluff.
I believe it is owned by and was built by Mike Mullen, author of Keep Left and owner/builder of Villa Tesori above Rendezvous Bay.
Tesori gets great reviews and it seems he knows how to do a nice villa but I have no first hand knowledge.

I did a little self guided tour of this villa last month. I think they were still doing the finishing touches and decorating, but it was basically finished. The villa is lovely, very nice pool (not too large, but pretty), the ONLY thing that is a bit of a negative in my eyes is that the deck that runs along the back of the villa, that overlooks the water, is very narrow......room for chairs, but not much else. The pool is to the side of the house and is the first thing you see as you enter. I didn't check the rates, but it is a nice home.

Thanks for the information! I was thinking the deck looked quite narrow from looking at the pictures. The villa looks beautiful, but we opted to go with something else.
