S. Wisconsin VI Junkies get together anyone?

We are new to this forum, but would like to hang out with other people that share the addiction for the islands like we do. (People that haven't been there, just don't get it!) We live on the Wisconsin & Illinois border and are wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting at a local bar & grill on the river (not the same I know!)to reminisce, share storis & best of the bests, and of course drink some rum punch! We have primarily been to STT, but have been to STJ once and plan on going back this December.

If anyone is interested we are thinking sometime in later August.

Hope to meet some other Island Junkies! LOL!

5 months until we get our next fix!

We're in Peoria and could shoot up Rte 39 or find somewhere in between.........

Will be away until Aug. 22 and the off to NYC for Labor Day weekend!

I probably live VERY near you! I will PM you to tell you where. I may be interested if I am not taking the daughter to college. Sat the 22nd is probably good. We had a forum party in Madison 2 years ago which was fun!

Aug. 22nd won't work for us -- will still be on a plane coming home from San Diego!

Yes, we've had a couple of Madison gatherings before and they have been great fun. I'll just keep following this thread to see where it goes...

I'd entertain the idea as well, but have 2 little ones who will either need to come along or have a sitter. 22nd doesn't work for us either - littlest's 3rd birthday party. Maybe I should just all invite you here for that?!

I have not met anyone yet either, but it sure will be great to put faces to names.

waterguy, I think you need to make a road trip.

I think we should bring a pain killer recipe with us and see if they can make it.
