Coral Bay delivery of Chinese food now available!!!!!

Post by Pia »

Just returned home to find a note on my gate. It is from the Lucky Pagoda Chinese Restaurant in Cruz Bay letting me know that they now deliver to Coral Bay on Mon, Wed, and Fri (and Sun for lunch only) You meet at the "triangle" for lunch delivery at 3pm - seems late to me - and for dinner delivery at 8pm - again (imo) late. The delivery charge is 1-5 entree $3.00 per entree, 6-10 entree $2.00 per entree, 11-19 entree $1.00 per entree and over 20 entree...... free.

Les has eaten lunch in Cruz Bay and it was very good but we had dinner take away that left a lot, no make that loads, to be desired but maybe it was just an off night.

Interesting concept for STJ.

Who eats lunch at 3:00? Maybe another example of island time? :? I wonder if the delivery charge is considered the tip or is that seperate. That is a long drive to deliver a few dinners. I guess they put a pencil to it, but it sure doesn't seem to be worth it.

And that wasn't even on the thread - on another forum - called "what is STJ missing?".

I'll fess up -- I eat lunch at 3 on island. It's right about that time that were headed back from the beach hot, tired and hungry (we eat a substantial breakfast and bring snacks to the beach with us).

I'll admit that after every trip down we usually order out for Chinese our first night back at home (for a variety of reasons). The greatest of which is I get a hankering for something I haven't had in a while.

As with all business ventures on island I wish them the best of luck!
*Another fine scatterbrained production
