Thursday photo fix

Post by JT »

Thought I'd post a few more shots from our wanderings around STJ. Where ever you are, I hope that they brighte up your day. I've been loving all of the trip reports lately. Thanks to all for taking the time.

This is along the side of the East End road. I've always gotten a kick out it.

This is a ruin at Little Lamesure.Image[/img]

That's what I call a road house. Think they're into beer?

Sloop's Gate, out near Vie's.

The Blue Cobblestone Beach, with Ramhead in the background.

Everybody got a laugh out of the price I paid near Kiddle Bay for this one. Though I didn't get stung, you never saw a 50 something man run so fast after doing something so stupid as to stick his camera in the tree to get this shot. I think the flash upset them and they chased me for a pretty long way. Pretty dumb on my part!

Hope you enjoy seeing these.
Back to work now! JT

Thanks JT, for brightening a gloomy morning. I love looking at your pictures.

Very nice... Always good to fantasize about STJ on a cold winter day--as if I'm not doing enough of that already! :)

jmg, there are some great shots! I feel like some people take snapshots,[me], and some people really do seem to consistently get great picures. I just try to get something to remember better where I've been. Thanks for the link!

JT, LOVE the pics!! I have to say your previous posts inspired me to get out to Leinster and hike to Brown Bay for the first time this past weekend. We actually walked along the shoreline on the way back instead of taking the trail, and although I was almost crying by the end b/c my feet were sprouting blisters and killing me, I was so glad we took the time out to see another side of St. John. Thank you!!
