Bacon

Post by mindehankins »

I was searching "how to cook ribs" this morning, and came across this site. I thought some of you foodies might enjoy it, and isn't there someone here who loves bacon? Gromit maybe?
Anyway.... Here.....

Click the url in the embed window just to the right of the video, to highlight it.

Right click on it and select copy

Right click in the thread you want to post it to and select paste

Press submit :D

Love this whole bacon thread! In case you're searching for a Father's Day gift, here's an idea:

Bacon-of-the Month Club!

By the way, we Iowans love our bacon---what other city has "Baconfest" as one of its major festivals?

We're slicing the last of this winter's home cured bacon on the rotary slicer today. 5 pounds will go fast. We may need to do a couple of summer bellies.

Cheers, RickG

I was hoping that bacon recipe that everyone loves would've made it into this thread. I think someone calls it "bacon crack"?

I was thinking I need a new way to cook bacon instead of just frying it up. I'm getting sick of it, and Chris is also a bacon-holic.

Laura, try a peanut butter & bacon sandwich on toast. YUM! Just ask Ruth, she's a recent convert! :)

That would probably be good if I liked peanut butter.

I know. I'm weird.

"Ham and bacon, you should taste them. I know it's surprising, but it's so appetizing."

Damn, I'm going to have that song in my head all night.

Ahhh, nothing like a freezer full of homemade pre-sliced bacon. Unless, of course, you had the opportunity to handle the hot toasty slab fresh from the smoker!

Perhaps its time for a bacony treat!
