Coolest version ever of USA National Anthem

Post by jmq »

Marvin Gaye sings the Star Spangled Banner at 1983 NBA All Star Game. Happy 4th!

That's a good one JMQ, thanks.

16-20 years ago when I lived in Midtown Atlanta, this is what I played for all of my neighbors to enjoy, windows open, volume at 11!
Jimi!

And I always offer a humble and honest thanks to all who have served our country to keep it free and safe, thanks...Happy Fourth!

"...volume at 11!"

Nice Spinal Tap reference.

Speaking of high volume, what song(s) do you automatically reach for the volume when you hear the first few notes and have to crank it? I was just in the car and "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N Roses came on. Thats one that needs (and deserves) to be played LOUD.

I heart Marvin Gaye. Thanks, jmq.

What a tragic end to such remarkable talent.
