.... in eight months!
The villa deposit was sent last week and tickets are booked.
I posted before about my 30+ villa spreadsheet and questions about Catherineburg and Virgin Grande neighborhoods.
In the end we decided Catherineburg wasn’t a good choice for this trip, which culled the number of villa possibilities down to just a few. We are staying at Sonadores in Virgin Grande.
We charged ahead and booked our tickets on US Air. They were $466 (taxes and fees included) for a Saturday direct flight out of Philly. With that out of the way, I can now waste time at work obsessively watching for the price to drop.
3 of the 4 couples have been on STJ together before. The fourth couple is the 20-something son and girlfriend (both newbies) of one of the couples.
(Hey Ry, if you are reading this – STJ would be the perfect place to get engaged!)
The herd is planning a Jost day. The little PA family would like to sail on Breath or Wayward Sailor if our little guy can swim by then. I am determined to get to Trinidad Charlies this trip. It has been on my STJ to-do list since 2006.
Who is going to be on-island end of Feb/beginning of March 2010?
