Fun topic: Ladies Who Pedicure... What Color.. Wild or Safe?

Post by Gromit »

Time for girlie fun...(or for men who are comfortable in their manhood please read on....)

As part of my STJ prep it's important to get the toes in shape so they look cute in the flip flops.

I'm a pretty conservative girl and tend to go with standard pink but I am contemplating doing something fun...

What do you recommend? Should I go with something funky or stay with the norm?

I think I saw that miss Vicki was sporting some turquoise toes in her STJ pics...

PS. Boys feel free to post something on back waxing or manscaping or going "commando" to balance this post out

i always like the look of red hot nails on da toes but then iguanas have been known to confuse said toes with the red flowers they loooove to eat. lookout!

Lysa-- I actually had that happen to me on STT once. I had this great reddish coral color on and awoke with an inquiring iguana nibbling on my big toe... it was kinda hot until it wasn't. Freaked me out!

I really like the french toe but I almost went with an earthy sparkle pink this time. It was soooo cute! Then I started thinking maybe it was too sparkly and going that shade might make them attractive to "They call me Mr Barracuda"

I'm a wimp. I went safe. Still thinking about that pink though. Drama girl had blue on. Not sure if she changed it or not.

Just got back from getting a pedi myself. I went with a fluorescent pink/orange on the toes. I was afraid to go with anything sparkly.

My feet are always at their least flattering in late winter so I always go for a "the works" pedicure before STJ. Then I'm so tickled with their resemblance to human feet that I take a picture for posterity! Is that weird? I like this color this season. It's an IPO color for Sephora.

I'm taking Gromit's advice and treating myself to upkeep. Though it's so damn cold here 10 months out of the year that my toes rarely see the light of day.

I am SOOOO boring and anal that I have to go with a neutral. I just get annoyed looking at my toes if they don't go with my outfit/flip-flops!

;-)

I did however give the mini Flip-Flop a pedi yesterday and she's sporting some fresh hot pink toes and lovin' it!
