Going south,but.........

I'm heading south,but....sadly not south enough.Times have been a bit rough for us for the last 2 years,just like for many of you. We did not take a vacation last year and we didn't think we could afford one this year.But I just had to get away for a short bit and found a good hotel deal down in Nashville,Tn. I think it's good to get away even if it's only 4 day's. Can I find something tropical there? Sure can! The Opryland hotel for it's tropical plants,and maybe some tropical fish at the Nashville,zoo! I will pretend that i'm on St.John and maybe that will cure my heartache for my favorite island....I wouldn't bet on it but I will make the best out of it.Are there any forum members in Nashville? Have a good day y'all

I'm not south, but want to wish you a great trip anyway. We've also encountered some not so fun times ourselves. We've scaled way back here. We're actually beginning to get used it, hard at first, but not so bad now. Enjoy Nashville! I understand the Opryland hotel is nice, and I swear I always sleep better in nice hotel rooms!

Thanks Belingirl for wishing us a fun trip. I will say this,I hope to return to S.T.J. in about 2 yrs. If my funds are low I will bring a sleeping blanket and sleep by the road.Trust me I'm a deparate man and I will do anything to get back!!!
