Another computer problem/ please help the challenged

Well, to give you the the Readers Digest Condensed Version,... ':lol:'....I am having trouble trying to download maps from the county GIS. I keep getting the error message (unable to display map service (ERR0924) image is too large and cannot be created) I get the same message from both IE as well as Firefox. I have had this problem in the past and for the life of my tired, sick mind cannot remember how to fix it.I was recently forced to employ an IT guru ':roll:'when I kept losing my internet connection and after that visit, things just haven't been the same, in other words ALOT of settings were reset and I am tired of banging my head on the wall.Anybody have any suggestions other than fix a cocktail?.... All help mucho appreciated!

This might help.

If you see a message "Unable to Display MapService [ERR0924] Requested image is too big and cannot be created." when you click the map link, change your screen resolution as follows:
1. On the Taskbar, click Start, (Settings), Control, Panel, (Appearance and Themes),
Display/Screen Resolution.

2. To enable popups for Internet Explorer 6.0:
