one day rental car on STJ

Okay, so I need you St. John lovers' help..we'll be in STT in February renting our car from Hertz and we know we cannot take our car over to STJ...here's my question...after we take the "people ferry" over to STJ will we be able to rent a car (or jeep) over in STJ for just one day? If so, who should we contact? Thank you very much!!

Renting a car in Feb the height of peak season is 99.999% impossible Your best chance is to arrive early in the day and then go car rental to car rental to see if anyone will have a jeep available . As far as I know they will not rent for less than a week in high season. Personally I would rent from another company that allows you to take the car to STJ.

It was during low season (this past May), but I got a one-day rental from Delbert Hill - 340-776-6637. I called about 3 months in advance and it was no problem.

We have rented for one day from Varlack, but as Pia said it's high season and it will be as available ting.
