current weather in St. John?
I am really looking forward to arriving on Wednesday. I have been following the weather and there has been rain. Can someone give me more information as to what the weather has been throughout the day. Is it raining in the morning and clear in the afternoon? Is it raining all day? What is the norm?

Hi Tina - Welcome to the forum!
Even though STJ has had quite a bit of rain recently, the "norm" is possibly a rain shower every day...usually at night. It can be raining at one end of the island and not the other. Best suggestion is to not pay any attention to the weather reports and just go have fun!

The weather has been warm and sunny and you shouldn't worry.
Do you check the webcams ever to assure yourself?
2 good ones are the StJohnspice cam and the one at Villa Serendipity over Chocolate Hole - they will give you a fine view of the current conditions.

Thanks for the replies. I have been watching the web cams daily. Actually I look at spicecam multiple times each day and have done so for many months. I was staying positive about sunny weather with the occasional shower, but thought some reassurance would be nice. This will be our first time and we are so very excited. The hubby and I were scheduled to be on St. John in October, but had to reschedule. I am looking forward to sinking my toes in the sand on the 17th!
Any suggestions for a couple of first-timers?
