F The Economy Trip Report Day 5 - The Big Honeymoon Splash
TUESDAY MAY 19th – HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICOLLE!
I have to tell you, Monday night was a rough one indeed. The mother of all hangovers was now pounding on both Nicolle and I and we just happen to be in rough shape. What a way to start off Nicolle’s birthday. The poor thing had the cold going on and now a self inflicted hangover from one hell of a wild night at Woody’s. Breakfast in bed for the birthday girl consisted of a bottle of Gatorade and two Advil’s. Man, am I a romantic guy or what? Feel the romance baby! Actually we both decided we needed some grease to help cure the hangovers. We headed out to Jake’s up at the Lumberyard for breakfast. I wouldn’t really call it a breakfast. Let’s just say I was not pleased at all with Jake’s. I’m not here on this island to complain, but that was just wrong so we will leave it at that.
We packed up the jeep with our chairs and water and headed to Honeymoon beach to meet up with the TITS Tour, the Clampets and the Capt Kirk Bunch for the planned forum beach day. Yes, I did say water and no alcoholic beverages. It was now looking like Mike and Nicolle needed to enter detox mode. That little hike to Honeymoon was the slowest I have walked in years. Somehow I still managed to leave Nicolle in the dust. Turned around and saw the baby steps and ass dragging she was doing and was feeling bad for her. Now I am thinking all those shots of Patron chased by pineapple juice wasn’t a good idea last night. Who the hell am I kidding, we had a blast. Somehow I still hear the chants of body shots…body shots ringing in my ears from the Pittsburg crowd. Crazy kids I tell ya. Finally arrived at Honeymoon and they already had their party on.
Honeymoon beach is worth the little walk you need to take to get there. It is one of my favorites.
We all pretty much hung out in the water chatting away about different things. You know, getting to know each other a bit more. We had the man boobs contest between the Capt and I and I am proud to say that the Capt took that one. Then there was some type of picture op of belly to belly between the Capt and Andy from the TITS Tour. I’ll let Capt Kirk tell you about Brickhouse, and his buddy Andy showing his noodle to the cruise photographer. Folks, you just have to sit back and smile because when this group of people got together on that beach, it really turned into a great day and one with plenty of laughs. I would really hate to see the day if we all decided to rent a really big villa for one or two weeks with all of us in it. St. John just wouldn’t be the same after that.
Nicolle went back up to her chair to nothing but breath all day. Somehow the conversation turned in to a little birthday surprise for Nicolle. I am figuring sun4mysoul and her buddies are going to gather around Nicolle and sing happy birthday. I was completely wrong about that one. Here we are just sitting there and breathing. Then this large shadow came up from behind us. I’m thinking this is going to be cute. They are all going to sing happy birthday to Nicolle. WRONG! Andy from the TITS Tour comes around to the front of Nicolle and scoops her up out of her chair and starts running for the water. I was in complete shock just waiting for Nicolle to reverse it and pile drive his ass into the sand. She’s a tuff chic I tell ya, she can do it. They are heading for the water and all I can see is Andy go down and Nicolle completely disappears into the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. I honestly thought he landed on top of her and she was going to experience major injuries. Not at all, she came out with a smile and a little chuckle. She got lucky because Andy tripped up where the water drops off suddenly and as he did Nicolle was actually tossed forward. It was all in good fun and looking back at it we laugh about it.
We said our goodbyes to the gang around 3. The Capt invited us over to his villa for an evening of partying and we really wanted to go. Sorry Capt, we were banged up and decided it was just going to be an early night for us. Woody’s got the best of us. I will admit to that.
We headed out to High Tide for dinner and sodas. Walked back to Lavender Hills and chilled. Had a little birthday cake for Nicolle and the crashing begin. We were out and in la la land by 8:00. I went to bed with a smile knowing that Nicolle had a good time on her birthday seeing that she was banged up from the previous days.

Boston Mike, We're watching the Sox and Hockey game and I'm reading your trip report to my husband and I don't know what he's enjoying more. He had a chuckle when I told him Boston Mike and Nicole are pretty "banged" up...great pictures and your trip has plum wore me out 
!!! We buy a bottle of rum when we got on island for a week and there's still some left when it's time to repack our suitcase...we wouldn't last a day with the crews your hanging on island with. We'll have to stick with the small fry in the shallow end of the pool!

It was a picture perfect day for us webtards to get together like that. It does stink that we didn't have any cameratards ready for the dunk....brenda wrote:It was a really fun day and I'm glad that we had a nice sized group show up. I know we're lucky that Nicolle didn't kill us for the dunk. It was supposed to be a little more gentle than it turned out to be! I did post a member of the TITS tour to photograph the event, but I guess all the alcohol make the rules fuzzy! 
It was a perfect day and I'm very lucky to have met such awesome Forum Folks! I hope we can do it again sometime!
And yes, Mike, if we all rented a villa, STJ may never be the same...I'm game for that!
