Dog Beds :)

Post by Pia »

I am posting here after my post on the "on topic" forum :)

I know there are many dog lovers here and I just wanted to let you know of this site,
fabulous quality and exceptional customer service - http://www.perfectdogbeds.com

I ordered the donut dog beds and they are fabulous. As I said, you pick the size and fabric and they make them with all profit going to homeless pets.
They also do alot of rescue work so if you are looking for a rescue dog please click their link - www.hua.org and they do alot of work trying to stop puppy mills - http://www.prisonersofgreed.org/

Thanks everyone for listening and happy shopping :)

Dang, a little too late for us. We JUST moved our pooch successfully from our bed to a doggy bed last week (going on night #6 in a row without him in our bed OMG, what a joy!). If we need to replace it though, I'll look here again.

Snow is the reason I was so happy to see Pia's link. He was a mill puppy, purchased by his first family from a pet store. From what we can tell by his behavior, he had five pretty rough years before his family finally realized they really didn't want him and surrendered him to rescue. He came to us through Northcentral Maltese Rescue http://malteserescue.homestead.com/RescueNEWS.html After being here a couple of years he is a much different dog than when he arrived. Because he is a mill dog we have been warned by the vet that he may be a little ticking time bomb when it comes to health issues. So far so good, though, and he is just a great little guy to have around - quite a character.

It's great to find a resource for dog supplies that does good work with rescues and campaigns against puppy mills.
