Spirit Airlines Baggage Fees?

Post by Teresa_Rae »

We will be flying Spirit Airlines to STT for the first time later this month.

Are the baggage fees they charge round-trip or do you have to pay again on the way back?

Thanks!

When I have bought tickets online from Spirit -- you must purchase the tickets each way and the luggage charge is each way as well - also look at the price boxes for the $9 club and the insurance - they will be added unless you UNcheck them yourself.

Thanks. They must have charged us for everything up front then. I have some dietary restrictions that require me to bring quite a bit of food with us...it's getting to be a pretty pricey process with what they're charging for baggage.

We also only had to pay going to STT and not comming back on US Air. Not sure why but like you I decided not to argue. :)
